I was reminded a few days ago of this simple blog’s existence. A friend told me she had been looking at it and laughing.

It has been almost five months since my last post, and I find that amazing. But I won’t apologize, because that gets annoying, and almost no one reads this anyways. : )

In short, I have moved. Moved from my life in the Antelope Valley, from my school, from my beloved friends, from my church, all the way to the Madera Ranchos. And this is the moment where you all ask “Where?” Yes, my friends, the Madera Ranchos, known to the bold insiders as “The ‘Chos!” It’s still in California, which is comforting, and as a matter of fact, the weather is not significantly different from that of the desert. Only a little more humid. . .

So I moved to the Ranchos (which is very close to Fresno, which you may hear me refer to as Fres-nizzle in the future). The night we moved, I got the stomach flu, and the day after, I had a weird allergic reaction. So that wasn’t very fun. . . But once we got settled, I had a far smoother experience.

School starting has been one of the best things for me so far. I am a freshman at Liberty High School, and I really like it. Liberty is a small school, but it’s pretty nice. I am taking Honors English 9, P.E., Choir, Biology, World Geography/Driver’s Ed, and Geometry. Sounds like quite a handful, but I;m coping pretty well. . . I think there must be something wrong with me, because I am very physically attached to school. I mean, I love being at school. Isn’t that just a little weird? Nevertheless, I spend my weekends wishing for school to come around again. . . Strange.

I’ve been rambling. Sorry. It’s been a while, so that’s my excuse. : )

So there’s a post. I am tired, because it is after ten o’clock p.m.

In a spirit of goodwill, I will attach a YouTube Video that will hopefully brighten your day. Enjoy!

I feel like I am stepping out of a whirlwind of activity!

Last Friday, May 30, I left to go to Catalina Island for four days with my 8th grade class. Catalina was an amazing experience and I really felt God’s hand there. He worked in my heart and in the hearts of my classmates. The worship there was unforgettable!

The next day, which I had off, I had a choir event in the evening and that was pretty fun!

The rest of the school week, I had dress-down days for various reasons – that was nice!

On Thursday, yearbooks were passed out and signing started. And the whole evening I had my graduation banquet which was a blast! Everyone looked beautiful (and handsome)!

And then, yesterday, my brother and I went to DisneyLand with our school. I had a ton of fun. My group went on Big Thunder Mountain three times, and Space Mountain was AMAZING!!!!! The group I was in also won second place in a scavenger hunt.

Finally, today is my Dad’s 35th birthday, so we went to see Iron Man and had dinner at BJ’s.

So, yeah. . . I’ve been pretty busy lately!

Just a little hint about Iron Man if you haven’t seen it yet: it’s really cool, but kinda weak on the storyline.

It has awesome graphics and stuff and the action scenes are really intense, but the storyline is kin of like, “Huh. . “

In conclusion, I want to say Happy Birthday to my Daddy!!
